Least Cost Path Analysis

 

 

• Used child demographic data from the Census, Ortho, Slope and Hillshade data of Tacoma combined with Tacoma's urban roads and parks layers

• Created kid density polygons by aggregating points from locations of children in the city

• Completed different raster reclassifications and cost distance and cost path analysis

• After completion of all analyses, a least cost path was created from the highest kid density location in Tacoma to near large parks
